Trendy western wear and fusion wear

Western wear is one of the most popular style choices among teenagers and young working professionals. The comfort and style choices offered by western wear are unparalleled. While jeans and tops have become so common, attires such as the gowns and dresses are worn only by a select few in Kerala. Let’s have a look at the various options available in western wear and fusion wear.
Dresses: It is a common misconception that dresses can be worn only by the extremely thin fashionistas. Dresses can be for the curvy or the thin. One has to keep in mind the cut off the dress and the colour while choosing dresses so that it flatters your body type. While maxi dresses would look good on a tall athletic figure it would be terrible for a short curvy body. If you have a slight paunch in your stomach then loose flared designs would be suited rather than bodycon dresses. If you have well toned arms go for sleeveless designs if not there are the lace sleeved dresses or various other sleeved options. Same goes for legs, you have options such as maxi, midi, knee length and mini dresses. Also remember to keep a little black dress that makes you look good as an emergency backup dress in your wardrobe.
Tunics: Tunics are a good option for those with a more conservative style. Tunics are paired with either jeans or leggings. There are numerous design variations for tunics as well. For casual occasions there are the t shirt models, the kurti models, etc. Body hugging tunics paired with stylish jeans and high heeled boots are a great option for those with short thin frames. Flared jeans normally do not go well with tunics.
Shirts: Shirts seem a boring option to many at first glance. However with the advent of online shopping the variations available for the humble shirt is simple stunning. From the casual boyfriend shirts to the highly formal cut shirts paired with trousers and blazer the shirt is not an attire to be discounted. Shirts can also be paired with a top that seems a bit too tight. This can give a very casual carefree look if paired with suitable jeans.
Jeans: While many pay a lot of attention to tops, the jeans is often neglected or chosen without a second thought. Nothing can be more disastrous for your attire. A good fitting and stylish jeans can do wonders for your figure. It can make your legs look long and shapely if chosen wisely and vice versa if you choose the wrong pair. Pay attention to the colour combination of the top as well to get the best out of your jeans.

Saree or Salwar the Best for Teenagers

Teenagers love to experiment. And this is one time in which you can try traditional as well as western attire without any social awkwardness. This is one time when you can freely experiment with the personality that you would want to project without thinking of a career. For those who might want to experiment with their traditional side Salwar or Saree is the best option.
For the early teens salwar would be a better choice. Salwars are easy enough to wear, and they come in a variety of styles. For those who do like to keep it a bit modern and traditional there is the short top and patiala combination. These are a good option for summer wear as Patiala bottoms are very airy, loose and usually made from cotton fabrics. This style can be teamed with a dupatta for the complete look or you can even do away with it. For festive occasions where you might like to dance this is ideal attire. The long top salwar is more formal looking attire. While this is the classic style when it comes to salwars this can be bit constraining for early teens. With the long dupatta and heavy work this is a combination that is best kept for auspicious occasions such as wedding celebrations or poojas.
Salwars can be brought both online and retail. One of the major reasons for the immense popularity of salwars is the numerous collections of unstitched salwars available. Unlike stitched and ready to wear options that you buy online you do not have to worry about the fit and other alterations that you might like to make. These are cheaper than the other stitched versions. Pay close attention to the design work around the neck and the fabric used while buying unstitched salwars. Most often these would be accompanied by a few pictures of the patterns in which they can be stitched. Depending on the way you get then stitched you could mix and match them with different bottoms and completely change their looks.
For late teenagers one of the most traditional dressing choices is the half saree. While this is not cumbersome to wear it has the elegance and charm of the saree. If you do want to go for the completely traditional and mature look then the saree is the best option. Unlike half saree this is a bit more difficult to wear and get used to. However, the elegance and beauty of the saree is unmatched by any other attire.  Learning to drape a saree properly is a skill worth learning. There are many styles in which you can drape a saree and you can even experiment with it and create your own unique style.
